Sun, 26 November 2006 ![]() I was extremely lazy this last week with all the turkey and thanksgiving goodness, so I didn't get ghetto studio C to the recording area. The result is me putting out a quick show all by my lonesome. Tim and Pete will be back, but for right now you will just have to listen to me, Chris. Great music, we gots the musical talent of Dempsey Doodle, Beau Hall once more, and a little hip hop by 5P. Don't forget to vote for us at www.podcastalley.com . Fri, 25 August 2006 ![]() Even in Los Angeles and with out a computer or a mic ... some stuff gets done. I just got off the phone with the boys. They ashure me that there are episodes to come. So I say to you, folks of internet land and beyond, new shows will be coming... hopefully! If not, I'm going to get my computer and drop the THIZZ show the weekend of Sep. 1st. ALSO, I had a great idea that formed while listening to old records (12") with my father the other day. Two words, Public Domain. There is a plethera (i kant spelll) of old blues from the 30's that is "Public Domain". Meaning we can play them and not get in trouble. SOOOOOO, wot does that mean for you? Easy, great blues soon to come here at NCPR. Be4 rock and roll and Hip Hop there was blues. Most artists will agree... it all started with Blues. So if you stick around and are still with us in the weeks to come, you might get a little education on the Blues. Don't forget to go vote for us at podcastalley.com This is Joey T asking you to keep it real! Category: podcasts -- posted at: 5:00 PM Comments[0] |

Sun, 28 May 2006 ![]() It's been brought to my attention that we need to be more respectful towards women on the show. We have all sat down and discussed this, and agreed that we don't want to repell our women listeners. We will be minding our p's and q's for a little bit... well at least for that subject. So to all the women out there, consider this a formal apoligy and wot not. And although I haven't had a formal discussion with Chris yet, It WILL take place. I promise. There won't be a new show until Wednesday the 31'st. It's a two song show. Featuring the usual tres amigos and some really good hip hop! So make sure you tune in Wednesday for that amazingly amazing show. I've also made a few changes to the Website to make it more "Interactive". There is a form based "comment and concern" section on the Right hand side now. It also has a small section for letting us know what you think. ie. we suck, we aren't funny, ect. ALSO, last but not least. There is an add at the top of our page. The more people click it, the more our banner gets floated about the internet. Help us out, but clicking the add banner at the top. Thu, 25 May 2006 ![]() Episode 28, Friday's show after a super long delay. Chris is still setting up ghetto studio c, but it's coming along nicely. We still haven't expanded yet, but the word is , it's happenin... so look for that soon. The break helps us a little bit this month, but next month we won't have to worry about it! Tonights episode features Baby Jaymes again, cus I dig it and it sounds good. Juan Tyme with some sick reggae'ish beat fest... i guess. And last but not least, ESP with some sick Hip Hop. We've played ESP before... but he's just that goood,... so we play another one of his songs. The usual NCPR crew kicks it live with our guest Don Juan the Magic Man from the Country Club Crest (aka. the President of the Vine Street Playas Club). Towards the end we have a question and answer section, I'm dubbing "Ask a playa". We might have him on in the future to do the same thing, because it was a lot of fun. If we offend any women with this show, welll... I'm sorry. We do our best not to piss to many folks off... but we love everyone so, it should all balance out. Good Music and Good Times. http://www.myspace.com/chris_and_joe_show Cheers! Comments[0] |

Wed, 5 April 2006 ![]() Hip hop and a little alternative rock. Zion I, Vin Lawdin and the Cali Band, and Akir. Hip hop - ness and rock. We rant and rave a bit, give a movie review, let you know about the upcoming shows in our area, and play some good tunes. The sound problem should be fixed,... just as it was last episode. But let us know if it still needs improvement. We are ALWAYS open to suggestions. Big ups to Akir and Viper Records! He sought us out and sent us two songs. Go cop his Legacy album, which is in stores right now. Funny jokes and actual sex laws from around the world, brought to us by co-host Chris... of course. Fri, 31 March 2006 ![]() Hip-hop and Electronica. Sun Spot Jonz, Faternal, and Optronix. Local Hip hop artists and a local producer give us some good stuff to blaze this podcast. No guests, just us and some music. The first segment of talk is fairly long, bear with it or skip it... I don't give a flying you know wot. Chris rants for a few minutes about his experience with shoplifters in his store. And later in the show, I rant about how much the MTV Jams "Jam of the Week" SUCKS! We start a new tradition of informing the masses about shows in our area. Over 450 subscribers now. We are growing like wildfire. Averaging 25-30 new subscribers with each show. The sound issue that was brought to us, has kinda sorta been fixed. Music and talk will now be "on the level". As in, music won't be 20 dbs louder than the talk. We are improving with each show. The comedy during this show might be a little dry, because we are both VERY sober. We will remember to get trashed next time. So, hip-hop and electronica. Look for us on itunes and/or dopler and/or myspace. Check it! ncpr707@yahoo.com Podsafe Music Network Comments[2] |
